Residents, team members, friends, and guests at Woodland Towers recently came together for a special 9/11 Memorial Ceremony—a meaningful afternoon of remembrance, reflection, and gratitude.

The ceremony was thoughtfully organized by the Woodland Towers Veterans Committee and brought together a full room of residents to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, as well as the families, first responders, service members, and countless heroes whose courage continues to be remembered.

The program included patriotic music, the Pledge of Allegiance, prayers, and a moving presentation by Joseph Inga, retired Fire Marshall and Fire Coordinator, who shared his personal experience from 9/11. His reflections brought an especially personal and powerful perspective to the afternoon.

Residents also had the opportunity to view the Flag of Honor, a special American flag created using the names of those who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks.

The ceremony concluded with “Taps,” offering a quiet moment to reflect on those whose lives were forever changed that day.

We are grateful to the Woodland Towers Veterans Committee for organizing such a thoughtful tribute and to everyone who joined us in remembering.
