National Chili Day Brings Friendly Competition to Woodland Towers

National Chili Day at Woodland Towers was a flavorful celebration filled with friendly competition, community spirit, and plenty of spice.
Residents and staff came together for a lively Chili Cook-Off, featuring homemade recipes ranging from mild and savory to bold and extra hot.

Participants included team members, residents, and valued community partners, all eager to showcase their best bowls of chili. Throughout the event, attendees sampled the different entries, cast their votes, and enjoyed an afternoon of laughter and camaraderie.

We were honored to have several of our trusted vendors join in the fun, including:

-Annie from CenterWell Home Health
-Jazmine from Gentiva Hospice
-Leona from Home Instead
-Justin from Pinnacle Home Health

Their participation added even more energy and community connection to the day.
After plenty of tasting and thoughtful voting, the winners were announced:

First Place: Debra – Woodland Towers employee
Second Place: Paige – Woodland Towers employee
Third Place (Tie): Annie from CenterWell and Diane from Woodland Towers

Congratulations to all of our winners and participants for bringing their culinary creativity to the table.
